Painting and illustrating my new children's picture book - 'Who is sleeping in there?'

The illustration process for my new children's book 'Who is sleeping in there?'

The children's picture book

'Who is sleeping in there?' By Caroline S. Bellever

(Available through Barnes & Noble and Amazon worldwide).

Learn to count and search for the hidden objects that are related to each little animal, for ages 3 - 5 years.

The process

After pencil sketching all the illustrations on watercolour paper, I then went on to add the ink, using Winsor & Newton black Indian ink and a dip pen. Once the ink was totally dry, I then moved on to paint the entire book with Winsor & Newton watercolour.

Once all the artworks were completely dry, they were then scanned and digitally made into files in order to add the text of the story, ready to be printed.
